#2 Limestone

2 Limestone 

Used for driveways that are a little muddy but have a good base. This is a hard rock that has a long life and does not readily pulverize when driven over repeatedly with a car or pickup truck.
 

Mason Sand

A fine sand which is used in combination with Portland cement mortar to lay block. Also used as base for swimming pools and as sand for kids to play in in their sand box.
 

Limestone Sand

It is coarser than limestone dust and is use as the layer above the 2A modified limestone as the leveling agent for retaining wall blockand paver brick. Also a lot is sold to owners of ponies and horses because of the softness on their hooves.
 

2A Modified Limestone

It is composed of 2B limestone and limestone dust. It works well when filling in driveway pot holes as it packs tightly as concrete when you drive over it. It is also used as a base for decorative retaining walls and as a base for paver bricks. Because of its packing ability, customers that have inclined driveways use it exclusive because of its holding and packing ability.
 

# 4 Gravel

Use primarily for decorative purposes. About the size of a softball mixed with bigger pieces. Outline shrubbery and various yard displays.

 # 3 Gravel

About the size of a baseball.  Much easier to work with than the #4 gravel.  Used for around shrubbery and other decorative purposes. Used also under decks to keep down moisture. Has been used for leach beds and drainage boxes depending on what the building codes are where you live.
 

2B Gravel

About the size of a quarter with some smaller to about the size of a nickel. A general all-purpose gravel used for drainage purposes behind retaining walls, foundations, ditches and etc. It is also used for decorative purposes. 
 

P-Gravel

As the name implies it is about the size of a pea. Use for a multitude of purposes. Customers that want a different look to their driveways and parking lots have used p-gravel. It is also used for decorative purposes and can be picked up in 5 gallon buckets for those who do container gardening as drainage in the bottom of flower pots.
 

# 3 Limestone

It is about the size of an egg. Used were driveways are very muddy and do not have supporting base. This limestone rock is very hard and durable. Does not deteriorate over time. Forms a solid base over time to which you can cover with the smaller limestone. Initially it is hard to drive or walk on but over time it more than makes up for the initial inconvenience.
 

1B Chips

It is about the size of a finger nail. Easy to walk on. Used on driveways and pathways that have good solid bases. Used as a leveler for air conditioner bases.

 

Course Sand

It is used in concrete, sandboxes and around water and gas pipes to protect them from sharp rocks that may cut the lines when any movement occurs after being backfilled.
